Keyless entry

Keyless entry is any way of opening a door without a physical key: your phone, a fob or card you hold near a reader, or a code you type into a keypad. It means there’s no key to lose or copy, and access can be given or taken away without changing any locks.

At Wigwam

Most customers use smart entry: once you’ve booked, your phone opens the external doors and, where your unit has a smart lock, your unit too, switching its alarm off as you go in and setting it again when you lock up. You can share access with someone you trust from your phone, for a set time or with no end date.

  • No smartphone? Ask us before you book and we’ll talk you through what will work for you.
  • At Chipping Norton, you use your own PIN at the door and a padlock on your unit.

Access is 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and push-to-exit buttons by the main exits mean you can always let yourself out.

Setting up smart entry

Before your move-in date you’ll get a text with a link and a temporary password. Allow Bluetooth and Location on your phone, as smart entry needs both, and create your own password. If anything doesn’t work at the door, call us on 0800 2545585.
