A storage unit is a simple answer when you’re moving out of service accommodation and your next home isn’t ready, or won’t take everything: your belongings wait safely, and the storage carries on until you’re settled, with no fixed end date. - No end date needed. The minimum stay is just two weeks. After that, your storage carries on, paid every four weeks, until you give notice, normally 14 days.
- Short notice is fine. Book online or by phone. If the size you need is free and your smart entry is set up, you can often move in the same day.
- Payments look after themselves. With a card or Direct Debit set up, each payment is taken automatically, and we email your invoice 5 to 7 days before, wherever you are.
- Someone else can help. You can share access with a partner, relative or friend through smart entry, so they can collect or drop things off while you’re away.
Planning around a march-out
Your march-out will set the date the property has to be empty and clean, so plan the storage move a few days before it. That leaves time to clean without furniture in the way. Access is 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, so an early van run before the inspection works well.
Pack for a longer stay: everything clean and completely dry, furniture in breathable covers rather than sealed plastic, and boxes labelled on the side so you can find things later.
Keeping things safe while you’re away
Every unit has its own alarm and lock, the external doors have access control, and our sites are watched by CCTV monitored around the clock by a professional monitoring company. Everything stored needs contents cover, through our contents protection or your own policy.
