A change to terms or fees is when a business alters the price or the conditions of an agreement that’s already running. In an ongoing agreement with no fixed end date, the contract usually says how much notice you’ll get and what you can do if you’d rather not accept the change.
At Wigwam
If we change your price or your terms, we always tell you in writing first, by email or post. The change only starts on your first payment date at least 28 days after we’ve told you, so you have time to decide.
If you’d rather not carry on, you can end your storage without any charge before the change starts. Just email us at hello@wigwamstorage.co.uk as soon as you can after our letter, and we’ll confirm your end date. We refund any days you’ve paid for but not used. If you’re happy to stay, you don’t need to do anything.
Your invoice also arrives by email 5 to 7 days before every payment, so you can always see what’s coming.
Price change or offer ending?
A higher payment isn’t always a price change. If you started with an introductory offer, your payments move to the standard price for your unit when it ends. That’s set out in your quote and booking confirmation, so it isn’t a change to your terms. Our prices page explains what storage costs.
Keep your details up to date
Our letters go to the email and address you last gave us, so let us know whenever either changes. If you think you’ve missed a letter, check your spam folder and then call us on 0800 2545585: we can tell you when we wrote and where we sent it.
