Yes. You can visit as often as you like, seven days a week, weekends included, from 6am to 10pm, and there’s no charge for visiting: access is included in what you pay for your unit.
Come and go as your plans need
Drop things off, fetch one box and leave the rest, or call in three times in a day. Taking things out, even most of them, is just another visit. Only ending your storage needs notice, which is normally 14 days by email.
Getting in is simple. Unless your unit takes a padlock, smart entry on your phone opens the doors and your unit, and sets and unsets your unit’s own alarm as you arrive and leave. At Chipping Norton you use your own padlock and enter a PIN instead.
Weekends
Access hours are the same on Saturdays and Sundays. Our office keeps shorter hours, which vary by site, and it’s closed on Sundays, so check your site’s page for its times. Cheltenham’s access hours are slightly different too, so if you store there, ask us for its times.
Before your move-in date we’ll text you instructions to set up smart entry, so do that at home before your first visit. If you’d like the reassurance of being able to call us while you settle in, a weekday move-in is a good choice.
Lots of trips during a move?
A few things make a busy moving day easier:
- Parking is free in the customer car park while you load and unload.
- Trolleys are free to use at every site, and some sites also have pallet trucks.
- There’s a free toilet at every site, which helps on a long day.
- Take each load straight into your unit, so the shared corridors stay clear and everyone can reach their unit.
- Lock up whenever you step away, even for a quick trip back to the van.
- Keep your cover up to date. If you keep adding things, check that your contents cover still matches what they’re worth.

Visiting for work
Tradespeople, market traders and online sellers can call in as often as the work needs, whether that’s tools first thing or a stock check at the weekend. Our business storage page has more.
Outside 6am to 10pm
If you’re still inside at 10pm, use the push-to-exit buttons near the main exits. Charges may apply for access outside normal hours, so talk to us first if you need it: see getting to your unit outside normal hours.
