Our team is on hand to help Monday to Saturday, on the phone and, at some of our sites, in person at the office. You don’t need anyone there to reach your things, though: smart entry (or your own PIN at Chipping Norton) lets you in from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and our sites are watched around the clock by a professional CCTV monitoring company.
Talking to our team
Office hours vary from site to site. At Chipping Norton, reception is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. Our Bath, Burton-on-Trent, Chipping Norton and Dorking sites also sell boxes and packaging in store during office hours.

If it’s your first visit, we’d suggest moving in on a weekday, when we’re easy to reach by phone if you have a question about smart entry.
Looking after your things when you’re not there
Your belongings are protected whether or not anyone is in the office:
- CCTV at our sites is monitored around the clock by a professional monitoring company, behind a secure perimeter;
- access control systems protect the external doors;
- every unit has its own alarm and lock, and if your alarm goes off while you’re not on site, our security team will investigate.
On moving day
Self storage means you do the loading and unloading yourself, at your own pace. Free trolleys are there to use at every site, there’s free parking while you unload, and every site has a toilet you’re welcome to use.
