Direct Debit

A Direct Debit is an instruction you give your bank to let a business collect payments from your bank account when they fall due. Unlike a standing order, which you set up for a fixed amount, the business collects the amount owed, so it suits payments that can change. Every Direct Debit is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

At Wigwam

You pay your first four weeks’ storage when you book, by credit or debit card. After that, payments are taken automatically every four weeks, by card or by Direct Debit, whichever you set up. We email your invoice 5 to 7 days before each payment, so you always know what’s coming.

If a payment doesn’t go through, we’ll get in touch promptly and help you put it right.

Why it’s convenient

  • Payments happen on their own, so there’s nothing to remember.
  • An expiring card can’t interrupt them.
  • The Direct Debit Guarantee protects you if a payment is taken in error.

You can cancel a Direct Debit with your bank at any time, but tell us too, so your storage payments carry on another way until you give notice to leave.
