Commercial storage is storage space rented by a business rather than a household, for stock, equipment, tools, display kit or records. It covers a wide range, from a self storage unit the business manages itself to warehousing, where a provider receives, stores and dispatches goods on the business’s behalf.
At Wigwam
We offer self storage for businesses: the same secure units, on the same simple terms, as our household customers. You keep control of your stock and come and go as you need.
- Flexible terms. The minimum stay is two weeks, then your storage carries on, paid every four weeks, until you give notice, normally 14 days. You can move to a bigger or smaller unit when one is free.
- No business rates on an indoor unit. The rates on our buildings are our bill.
- Work from your stock. You can pick and pack your own orders at your unit between 6am and 10pm, seven days a week, and share access with colleagues through smart entry.
- Drive-up options at Chipping Norton, Shipston-on-Stour and Warminster.
A unit is for storage, so it can’t be used as an office, a shop or your business address, and we can’t sign for deliveries on your behalf.
Self storage or warehousing?
Self storage suits a business that wants its own space and control at a modest cost. Warehousing suits large volumes with forklift handling and staff dispatching orders for you.
