Our Box Shop delivers boxes and packing materials straight to your door, so everything can be ready before moving day. If you’re working to a fixed date, just ask us about delivery on 0800 2545585 before you order, and if you buy online as a private individual, you can change your mind about an order within 14 days of it arriving.
Ordering for a moving date
A little planning means you only order once:
- Work out what you need first. Our guide to how many boxes you’ll need helps you get the quantity right, with a small margin for the things you always forget.
- Mention your date. When you call, tell us when you’re moving, so you can check the timing before you buy.
- Have it sent to your home, not your unit. Our sites don’t sign for or take in deliveries on a customer’s behalf, so it’s best sent somewhere you or someone you trust can receive it.
- Need a few more boxes on the day? Our Burton, Bath, Chipping Norton and Dorking sites sell packaging in store during office hours. At Chipping Norton, reception is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to 2pm. It’s worth ringing ahead to check the site has what you need.
Sending back what you don’t use
If you’re buying online as a private individual, the law gives you 14 days from the day your order arrives to cancel it, without giving a reason. Let us know by email at hello@wigwamstorage.co.uk or by phone, then send the items back within 14 days of telling us. You’ll get back what you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of the goods reaching us or of you showing us you’ve sent them. The cost of posting them back is normally yours, unless we’ve agreed otherwise.
The one thing to watch with boxes is how they’ve been handled. A box that’s been taped up, written on or packed has usually lost some of its value, and that can be taken off a refund. So keep anything you might send back flat, dry and unmarked, ideally still in its bundle. If you’ve used part of a kit, give us a call before sending anything back.
If you’re buying for a business, the 14-day cancellation right doesn’t apply by law, so agree delivery and any returns with us when you order.
