You can still get out of the building: if you’re still inside after hours, use the push-to-exit buttons near the main exits to let yourself out. Access hours are 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, and charges may apply for out-of-hours access, so if you can see a late finish coming, give us a call beforehand.
Running late happens
Moving days rarely go exactly to plan. The van turns up late, a completion is delayed, or the last load takes longer than you thought. If you find yourself still on site at 10pm, lock your unit and head for the main exit. The push-to-exit buttons are there so that nobody is shut in.
Why the hours, and why a possible charge
Our access hours of 6am to 10pm, every day, give you time either side of a working day. Charges may apply for out-of-hours access, so if you’re worried about one, call us on 0800 2545585 and we’ll explain how it works at your site.
Planning a long day
A little planning keeps you inside the hours:
- start early, from 6am if you need to;
- tell your removals firm or helpers when the site closes, so the last load arrives in good time;
- set up smart entry before moving day, so you’re not losing time at the door;
- take each load straight into your unit, and lock up whenever you step away.
Need to come earlier or later as a rule?
If your work or your move means you’ll regularly need access outside 6am to 10pm, ask us before you book. If we can agree extended access with you, the hours are written into your storage agreement, and there may be an extra charge. Our guide to access hours and coming early or late has more.
