Can I rent storage for just one month?

Yes. Our shortest stay is two weeks, so a month is no problem at all: you pay your first four weeks in advance when you book, and there’s no deposit for new customers. When you know your end date, give us notice, and we refund any days you’ve paid for but won’t use.

How a one-month stay works

  1. Book your unit. The online quote shows the price at your nearest site, along with any offer running there. You pay the first four weeks up front, plus contents cover if you take ours.
  2. Give notice when you know your date. Our notice period is normally 14 days, and it’s shown on the front page of your agreement. Just email hello@wigwamstorage.co.uk with your end date. If you already know you only need a month, you can send it as soon as you’ve moved in.
  3. Move out and let us know. Clear the unit, leave it clean and tidy, and email us to say you’ve gone. Once we’ve checked the unit, we refund the days after your end date.

Four weeks, not a calendar month

We bill every 28 days rather than by calendar month. So if your stay runs a few days past four weeks, your next payment is taken on its due date as normal, and we refund the days after your end date once you’ve left. We email your invoice 5 to 7 days before each payment, so nothing comes as a surprise.

What four weeks costs

On our October 2026 price lists, the middle price across our sites for four weeks is about £85 for a 25 sq ft unit, £133 for 50 sq ft and £228 for 100 sq ft, before any offer. The same size costs less in some towns and more in others, and prices change, often monthly, so get a price online for today’s figure.

Your belongings need contents cover for the whole stay, even a short one. You can take ours, or use your own policy: send us proof within 14 days of moving in and we’ll refund our cover charge in full.

If your dates might slip, the simplest thing is to hold off giving notice until you’re sure of them. A month can become three without you needing to rebook anything.
