Yes. Our shortest stay is two weeks, we bill every four weeks, and you can leave with 14 days’ notice, so you can rent a unit for the months you trade and hand it back when the season ends. It suits market and festival traders, Christmas stock, garden businesses and event kit.
Matching the unit to your season
Book a little before your first event, so you can move stock in without a rush. Once you know when your last event is, email us your end date, giving the notice shown on your agreement, which is normally 14 days. We refund any days you’ve paid for but won’t use once the unit is empty and checked.
If your stock grows towards a busy spell, such as the run-up to Christmas, you can move to a bigger unit when one’s free, and back down again afterwards.
Working around your trading days
You can get to your unit from 6am to 10pm, seven days a week, so loading before an early market or unloading after a late event is easy. There are free trolleys at every site, and at Chipping Norton, Shipston-on-Stour and Warminster we also have a limited number of drive-up units, where you can park right by the door.
If staff or a business partner need to collect stock, you can share access with them through smart entry, for a set period or for the whole season. We don’t take in deliveries, so if a supplier is delivering to your unit, someone from your side needs to be there to meet them.
What can go in
Stall equipment, gazebos, tables, display stands, boxed stock, crafts, clothing and garden tools are all welcome. To keep everyone’s belongings safe, anything flammable has to stay out, so keep gas bottles, generator fuel and aerosols at home or with your supplier. Plants can’t be stored either, so hold live stock elsewhere and use the unit for pots, tools and furniture. If any of your stock is food or drink, call us before you book and we’ll talk it through.
The unit is for storing your stock and kit, so it can’t be used as a shop or as your business address.
Cover for your stock
Everything stored needs contents cover, either our contents protection or your own business insurance. Declare what it would cost to replace your stock today, and update it as your stock builds up for the season.
