On our October 2026 price lists, our largest standard unit is 450 sq ft, at Reading. For context, our size guide puts a four-bedroom house at around 150 sq ft, so these are big spaces, and if you need more still, you can rent two units side by side when they’re free.
Our largest spaces, by site
In October 2026, the biggest sizes on our price lists and in our online quote included:
- Reading: a 450 sq ft ground-floor unit.
- Chipping Norton: a 440 sq ft drive-up unit, so you can park beside the door and load straight in.
- Tewkesbury: a 365 sq ft ground-floor unit.
- Warminster: a 320 sq ft container, twice the floor space of a 160 sq ft container, and a good fit for business stock and large equipment.
The largest size differs from site to site, and which units are free changes from day to day, so we’ll check what’s available for the dates you need.
Not every size shows online
Our online quote doesn’t list every unit size. If you can’t see the size you want, give us a call and we’ll tell you what’s free at your nearest site.
Need more than one unit can hold?
You can rent more than one unit, and they can sit next to each other when two adjoining units are free. Each is its own booking, so when you no longer need the extra space, you can give notice on one and keep the other. Our page on renting two units side by side explains how it works.
Before you book a big unit
A few things make a large move or a big delivery of stock go smoothly:
- Ask for the ground floor for heavy items such as pallets, machinery or white goods, so there’s no lift between your vehicle and the door. Our weight limit guide has more.
- Think about drive-up. At Chipping Norton, Shipston-on-Stour and Warminster, drive-up units and containers let you unload straight from your vehicle. See how big our containers are.
- List your biggest pieces with their measurements, so we can check they’ll go through the door.
