How do I make a complaint to Wigwam?

We’re sorry something hasn’t gone the way it should. Call us on 0800 2545585 or email hello@wigwamstorage.co.uk, tell us what’s happened, and we’ll work with you to put it right.

The best way to reach us

A phone call is quickest, especially for anything urgent at your unit, such as a lock that won’t secure, a leak or damage you’ve just found. Please tell us about damage or a fault as soon as you spot it, so we can deal with it before it gets worse. Our office is open Monday to Saturday.

If you’d rather put it in writing, or want a record of what you’ve raised, email us at hello@wigwamstorage.co.uk. It’s fine to call first and follow up by email.

What to tell us

It helps us look into things quickly if you include:

  • your name, your site and your unit number;
  • what happened and when;
  • who you’ve already spoken to, if anyone;
  • what you’d like us to do, whether that’s a repair, a refund of a charge or simply an explanation;
  • any photos, invoices or emails that help show what happened.

If something has been damaged or stolen

If you have our contents protection, tell us in writing that you’d like to make a claim, and we’ll pass it to our insurer promptly. Our guide to making a claim takes you through it step by step.

If you’re contacting us for someone else

If you’re helping a relative, or acting as an attorney or executor, tell us who the customer is, how you’re connected and what authority you have. We’ll explain what we need to see so we can talk to you about the account.

If you’re still not happy

If you’re not satisfied with our answer, tell us, and ask us for our final response in writing. If we still couldn’t agree, our terms say we’d both try independent mediation before going to court, and mediation can be quicker and cheaper for everyone.

For free, independent advice at any stage, you can call the Citizens Advice consumer helpline on 0808 223 1133. If your complaint is about how an insurer handled a claim, it goes to the insurer first, and then, if you’re still unhappy, to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Whatever’s happened, we’d always rather hear from you. Call us on 0800 2545585.
